Suicide Ali shoot in April 2010

In April I had the pleasure of doing a photo shoot for MadHatter Magazine with Goshi and Hiroshi of the Japanese band Suicide Ali.  The shoot was at Schenley Park in Pittsburgh, PA.  The band was scheduled to perform at Tekkoshocon, an anime convention held in Pittsburgh.  The shoot was for the Magazine's jewelry design for the "Dark Forest" Bracelet.  They were phenomenal to work with!  Here are 2 of the ads featured for the bracelet.  Photos were taken by Tracey McCloskey of BitterSweet Photography.

30 Seconds to Mars video shoot

In October I had the pleasure of being chosen to be an extra in the music video for their new release, "Hurricane".  It was a small role but I was in 2 separate scenes.  A rave scene and a marching scene.  Not sure if you will actually see me or not.  All depends on how it is edited. 30 Seconds to Mars is one of my favorite bands and it was so much fun being able to work on this project.   Below is a shot that they posted on their site of the marching scene and a link to the video teaser.

Photo shoot with Carlos Funn

Yesterday I worked with a new photographer.  Carlos Funn was a BLAST to work with!!  We had the best time.  He gave me some helpful tips and directions on how to better market myself and work with different angles and such.  We shot in a woodsy locations utilizing the fall season as our backdrop.  He began working on some of the edits after we finished and I just have to say wow......I can't wait for you guys to see these photos.  You will not be disappointed!

Good morning Blog world!

I can't believe I was up until 2:30 this morning.  Wow.  I happened to stumble upon a site where actors, directors, producers, etc. were all giving their advice to people who have a passion for acting.  I admit, I was feeling a little discouraged last night.  I keep thinking about all of the roles I submit for and work that my agent submits me for and I still haven't really done that much and it started to get me down.  But then I found that site and was given new inspiration and encouragement to keep pushing forward.  So, I signed up on yet another breakdown site called Back Stage.  I found out about them when I was at ActorFest in New York.  I am going to keep submitting and working hard and eventually I WILL get the big break I am looking for.

By the way, this is how I felt last night.  lol

Well hello bloggers, nice to meet you!

Ok, so I decided to start writing a blog of all of the adventures I go on while traveling this long, hard road to achieve my goals of being an accomplished model/actor.  So, here it begins....

To make a long story short of how I got into all this, if it is possible to make this a short story, I grew up doing several different styles of performing arts.  From the time I was a few weeks old I was in my first play.  That of course being the baby Jesus in a church nativity play.  We all start somewhere, right?  Nevertheless, there I went into piano, cheerleading, dance, performance colorguard and winterguard, and finally theater and modeling.  These last 2 have been the ones I have remained the most passionate about.  I began looking for ways to get into these activities more and finally ended up signing with a local modeling agent and acting agent.

Well, that wasn't too long now was it?  But, seeing as how it is almost midnight, I shall bid you all a good evening for now and continue the stories of my adventures tomorrow.

Pleasant dreams!
